“Social Workers Taking on Challenges for A Happy Society”
The Department of Social Welfare is training social workers with creativity and character who can improve the overall quality of living of the general public. To respond to changes in the social environment where the demand for care services for children, the elderly, and the disabled is on the rise due to low birth rate and an aging society, we are running a 3-year curriculum and supporting the courses by establishing diversified industry-academic cooperation systems and through cooperation with excellent faculty.
Educational goal
- We aim to train professional social workers who have acquired basic knowledge about people and social environment, understand the problems of individuals, families, groups, and the local community, and learned how to prevent and solve these problems.
Key jobs: Social welfare interviews, operating social welfare programs
Support & Benefits
- We provide opportunities for students to engage in language training and participate in exchange student programs with Seiwa Women’s Junior College (Japan).
- We support language training in Canada, Australia, etc.
