The Department of Food and Nutrition aims to develop the quality and ability to provide health care, nutritional support, and disease treatment and provide specialized education that enables students to actively respond to various fields related to food in order to train global food and nutrition specialists practicing love with creativity and character based on the Christian spirit. We have strengthened practice-centered and field-centered education to cultivate our students’ abilities to grow into dietary teachers, clinical dietitians as well as researchers and managers related to food and nutrition by moving onto graduate school through intensive major courses for bachelor’s degree holders. We are running a curriculum for fostering nutritionists with expertise as a leader of a sustainable future society at a point in time when the importance of climate environment and public health is emphasized as contract-free is becoming a new trend due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Educational goal
The department aims to provide specialized education to foster global food and nutrition specialists equipped with creativity and character practicing love by developing their qualities and abilities for providing healthcare and nutrition services.
